12. Analytics & Product Improvement

We use PostHog (PostHog Inc.), hosted in the European Union, to understand how Martial Apps is used so we can improve it. PostHog is a third-party analytics provider that processes data on our behalf under a Data Processing Agreement.

What we collect:

• Pages you visit and how long you stay
• Explicit product events you trigger (login, signup, payment, and similar) — automatic click-capture (autocapture) is disabled
• Login, signup, payment, and other product events
• Errors and performance metrics
• Browser type, device type, operating system, language
• A pseudonymous user identifier linked to your account

What we DO NOT collect:

• Your password, payment card numbers, or one-time verification codes
• The content of messages you send or support tickets you submit
• Names of children unless their parent has expressly consented

Session recordings:

Off by default. We only record your screen interactions if you click “Accept all” in the consent banner. Sensitive form fields (passwords, emails, phone numbers) are masked. Never recorded for child accounts. You can withdraw consent anytime in Settings — Privacy.

Children's data (under 18):

We do not collect analytics about children unless their parent has expressly opted in via the parental consent dialog during child profile creation. Parents can withdraw consent at any time, after which the child's analytics records will be deleted.

How long we keep it:

• Product events: 12 months
• Session recordings: 1 month
• Pseudonymous person profile: deleted with your account or on request

Hosting:
